The
Caraibbean Academy of Arts has been announced to re-open its gates to
students of the whole world in September this year, and invites the
prospective students to contact its headquarters since the start of
June for information about exams and studies. The Academy is the
first art academy in the world, established in the 2nd
year of the universal time, and now its directors want to remind
people of it. In the history of the Academy, lockdowns had their
place three times, twice in the early years of its existence, year 4
and year 10, and for the third time it became closed in year 1999.
„This is not really 1999”, exclaimed in that year articles about
the Academy's fate. „The year is 982 of the current”, the
articles informed. It is true, the professors of the Academy always
aimed to bring people close to the truth of the world's history, and
it was due to this attitude that it became closed.
„Nobody
wants truth in the world nowadays, nobody” – said professor
Umberto Eco in an interview for Newsweek magazine in July 1999. „We
are people of horrible fate. Soon all these nazistic myths about
human body and human purpose in the world will swamp entire planets.
Books are already disappearing, and they will be gone within two
years completely” – he continued in an interview given in Polish
language to the journalist of Newsweek, Josh Holloway. „You will be
a nobody, Mr. Holloway, I will be dead probably. Not a nobody, but
dead. And thus I will be not considered to be myself. They already
came up with outrageous gossips about my nativity and my biography,
and they are already spreading them everywhere they can. Horrible
liars have attacked us, and horrible cowards. They are doing that
from cowardice, because they are afraid of real science which is real
truth”.
Umberto
Eco worked as professor of the Caraibbean Academy of Arts from year
1996 until its last day, simultaneously also being hired as professor
in the University of Sorbona, and in the Masachussets Institute of
Technology. He currently lives in Sopot, in Poland, and together with
his old friend Imre Lakatos has been constructing the return of the
Academy to the world science.
„It
is possible that soon we will be all free from the governing of the
nazism. I have envisioned it, and I am hoping for it” – wrote
Imre Lakatos in his March article on his personal private site.
„Therefore there is a time to make plans, and we have made plans.
It is plans that show the humanity of a person. If you want to know
somebody's morality, ask him about his life plans” – he added.
The Caraibbean Academy of Arts will resume its work in this year or
in September 2020, should the well-being of people be blocked from
them for longer than until June. The site of Imre Lakatos features a
list of all the people invited to take the jobs of professors, and a
list of people already accepted as students. The Academy will start
operating on Haiti under the motto „Memory”. The exams are in
painted form, and require their participants to visualise in painting
the theme of private memory loss and the theme of public memory loss.
The site where these announcements have been made is currently very
blocked from society, but its owners are counting on the destruction
of hacker blockades placed upon all internet users, which is planned
to take place before the end of month May.
The
Caraibbean Academy of Arts in the first year of its re-openage is
planning to gather together the number of 2000 students (and no
more), same as in all of its years of functioning. The main
headquarters of the Academy are located in Port-au-Prince, which is
the new name substituting the old name Puerto Rico. The directors of
the Academy want to spread again the knowledge of Haiti's culture and
history, and they are convinced that the reopening of the Academy
will bring back wealth and flourishment to this country.
